Community Tree Planting in Fallingbrook Park (Whitby)
Join LEAF and Trees for Life as we celebrate National Forest Week by planting native trees and shrubs at Fallingbrook Park. Get your hands dirty and help us improve Whitby’s urban forest! All ages welcome.
Children under 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.
Planting event will take place from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Please wear:
Closed-toed shoes or boots – no sandals, please!
Gardening gloves, if you have them (we will have extras)
Appropriate clothing – the event runs rain or shine
All LEAF events count toward secondary school volunteer hour requirements.

Dig into the fun and help us grow Vaughan’s urban forest! Celebrate LEAF’s 30th Anniversary with a family-friendly afternoon planting native trees and shrubs in McClure Meadows Park.

Biidaasige Park Tree Planting EVent
Come plant trees in beautiful Biidaasige Park!
As buzz continues to build ahead of the FIFA World Cup 2026™, Trees for Life and the Arbor Day Foundation have joined FIFA to bring lasting environmental impact to the City of Toronto. Together, the collaboration will host a community tree planting event at Biidaasige Park to build on the local tree canopy of the new park (opened in 2025), and bring long‑term environmental benefits to the surrounding area.
Registration is required for this event by completing the registration form and signing the 2026 Arbor Day Waiver. Space is limited and spots will be confirmed once both forms are submitted.
Earth Day Planting Event
Trees for Life is partnering with the Arbor Day Foundation, the City of Richmond, and the Garden City Conservation Society for a community tree planting event at Terra Nova Park in the City of Richmond, BC.
Join us as we plant a “Mini Forest” designed to improve flood resiliency in an area of the Terra Nova Park that has previously experienced flooding.
All volunteers must register and sign a waiver in advance in order to participate. Space is limited.
