Want to help grow Aurora’s urban forest? Join LEAF and partners for some family-friendly fun, planting native trees and shrubs in Thomas Coates Park. Get outside this fall and give back to nature! 

LEAF events count toward secondary school volunteer hour requirements. Children under 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. 

Planting event will take place from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. 

Please wear: 

• Closed-toed shoes or boots – no sandals, please! 

• Gardening gloves, if you have them (we will have extras)  

• Appropriate clothing – the event runs rain or shine
