Community Tree Planting Event in Treasure Hill Park (Georgina)

Looking for a family-friendly outing this fall? Help grow Georgina’s urban forest in Treasure Hill Park. Get outside and give back to nature at the same time! 

LEAF events count toward secondary school volunteer hour requirements.Children under 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. 

Planting event will take place from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. 

Please wear: 

  • Closed-toed shoes or boots – no sandals, please! 

  • Gardening gloves, if you have them (we will have extras)  

  • Appropriate clothing – the event runs rain or shine 

 This event will involve walking on unpaved paths and uneven grassy surfaces. For accessibility questions, please contact Sarah Halonen at sarah@yourleaf.org
