The City of Marieville carried out a major community planting at Veterans Park. Thanks to the participation of more than 200 volunteers from the school system, the corporate sector and the Marieville community, 1,165 plants were planted, including 765 trees and 400 shrubs.

The result of several months of planning and mobilization, this initiative represents the largest community planting project undertaken in Marieville to date. Carried out with the support of Arbre-Évolution and Trees for Life, it aimed to enhance the park's vegetation cover, strengthen local biodiversity, and improve the area's ecological connectivity.

The project brought together students from Monnoir Elementary School, citizens, families, municipal elected officials, and corporate volunteers from companies including AGF Investments, Pierre Fabre, and Infasco.
