Trees for the Environment
Trees are planted to help with environmental restoration, the increase of the urban tree canopy, and to enhance public green spaces as well as privately owned property. These projects are focused on environmental benefits such as carbon sequestration, oxygen production, storm water absorption, wetland enhancement, and pollutant filtration. These projects may also assist or be focused on the regeneration of habitat for several native species of flora and fauna, many of which could be considered threatened or at risk.
